Wow, I’m behind on blogging. This snow day took place on January 24, which—in the spirit of this racing year—seems like yesterday. However, it wasn’t yesterday, and I seriously need to catch up on my blogging!
Like our snow day in Charleston years ago, this snow day was short and sweet. I think there was even less snow here than in South Carolina that day.
Still, we took advantage of it as best we could…

Anna was the one who really loved sledding. Luke took a couple trips down the hill, and then was content to do other things.
Like make snow angels.
I even tried sledding!
Eventually, we came in for chocolate chip pancakes and, later, hot chocolate. Luke was content to stay in, but not Anna. She literally sledded until the melting snow made it impossible:
And of course, by that afternoon, we were hiking around sunny Radnor lake!
